Sometimes we leave the LIVE feed up while our Silkies free-range our suburban backyard. They'll come in and out of the coop throughout the day. They love to dig in the dirt, dodge hawks, stray cats, and hunt for the biggest worms. They’re happier this way and they offer up more tiny bantam eggs. If you can’t find them in the live view they are probably out on an adventure and will return soon. Don’t worry… our farm dog, Cora knows how to protect them.

Lavie - Lavender Silkie with the cutest cross beak. She is our head hen.
Buffy - Orange fluff and thinks she's in charge.
