Reconnecting To Nature Through Houseplants | How To Care For Houseplants | Edible Houseplants

Published
One of the greatest fears we humans have is the fear of Nature. We fear snakes, spiders, bears, wolves, flies, and so much of the natural world because we're so out of touch with it. We've become conditioned and acclimatized to living in an artificial world. Many people I meet and speak with claim to be seeking deeper connections, but to what? Many claim they are seeking a deeper connection with God, Source, Creator, Spirit.

In order to have a deeper connection with God, Source, Creator, Spirit, we must first learn how to connect with our own inner nature and everything natural, as God is the Creator of all things natural. And the best way to do that is through reconnecting to the natural world. One of the easiest and most affordable ways to reconnect with Nature is by growing, caring for, and nurturing houseplants. Growing, caring for, and nurturing houseplants not only reconnects us to the natural world, it provides valuable knowledge and experience for growing your own food. And did you know you can grow beautiful, fragrant, edible houseplants that you and your family can enjoy, propagate them, and increase your food security?

Don't think you can grow food if you rent, are disabled, live below the poverty line, live in a major city, and are middle to senior aged? Think again! I am a disabled woman of 56 years, living under the poverty line, in Toronto, Ontario Canada, zone 5, with my husband Domenic and our two senior cats, Buffy and Gypsy. With very little money, lots of creativity, and a willingness to learn from failure & loss, I live a life of great wealth. I make my own dirt and grow organic food indoors and outdoor in container pots, in mega grow bags, and in raised garden beds made from scrap materials. I've planted a secret food forest and have transformed a front yard into a beautiful floral salsa garden on land I do not own. If I can do it, you can too! Let me show you how!!
