Today Matt is live at the Mendicino County Jail where he spent the week helping inmates to build a donated 8'x24' American Coop. The Unconditional Freedom Project contacted Carolina Coops a few months back asking us to be a part of the restorative justice program at the jail.

Mendocino County Sheriff Matt Kendall was instrumental in getting this program to the jail. He is a fan and fellow chicken keeper and will be with Matt to discuss the program and answer questions. Through the program, inmates will learn about gardening, growing food, chicken keeping, and now building a chicken coop.

The Unconditional Freedom Project is a nonprofit that aims to restore dignity to the most outcast members of society. They focus on the incarcerated, the homeless and the addicted.
We were honored to be a part of this inspiration program. The nonprofit is making a documentary about this experience at the jail.
